Learn the basic easy steps to square dance with live music by The Orla String Band and callers Tom Maloney and Brandy Forseman!


✨ABOUT THE BAND

The Orla String Band consists of Cooper and Kyle Orla. Their high energy fiddle tunes are guaranteed to shake out the dust in any dance hall! They specialize in Midwestern and Upper-Midwestern fiddle tunes, but their repertoire also includes rip-roaring Appalachian breakdowns, rags, blues and more!!

ABOUT THE CALLERS

Tom Maloney and Brandy Forsman, perform in the Duluth string band, Four Mile Portage, have been calling dances for the last 15 years. They host a dance weekend every summer at Mesaba Coop in Hibbing, Minnesota, and also run a folk dance and music program and Harbor City International School in Duluth. They have put out more dancers and musicians than you have on your family tree, and are extremely fun to dance for!
