For Indie weekend at Little Theatre Auditorium, we've curated a small selection of Indie (Arthouse) films.

11a ~ Short indie cinema gems (including Ghosts Before Breakfast, dada short films, and Haircut)


11:30a ~ My Tehran for Sale (2009, Moussavi) Stars Marzieh Vafamehr. A young actress creates in secret since authorities have banned art. She meets a man at an underground rave; will she escape and be free to create? Runtime 1 hr 36 m

NOTE: In 2011, Vafamehr was arrested when unauthorized copies of this movie were circulated in Tehran. Her sentence of 90 lashes and 1 year in prison was reduced to 3 months due to international pressure.
